Xiaomi, the China-based smartphone manufacturer, launched the company’s latest flagship – Xiaomi Mi 6 – in China on Wednesday. The handset has been making rounds on the internet and, on Wednesday, the company finally took the wraps off and unveiled the next generation of flagship devices that possess some serious hardware prowess combined with Xiaomi’s software enhancement.
The Mi 6, which look a great deal like the Mi 5 but with some aesthetic improvements, offers top-of-the-line features such as Snapdragon 835 processor, 6 GB of RAM and dual-camera set-up at an affordable price tag.

Display
The Xiaomi Mi 6 sports a 5.15-inch full HD bright display. According to the company, the display can reach a maximum brightness level of 600 nit. Also, the display is tuned in a way that it reduces blue rays, thus protecting the eyes. The 3D curved glass covers the display and is enclosed in a glossy stainless steel frame.
Hardware
The Xiaomi Mi 6 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The same processor powers Samsung’s latest flagship -- Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The base model of Xiaomi Mi 6 features 64 GB internal memory coupled with 6 GB RAM. The premium model sports 128 GB internal memory with 6 GB of RAM.
On the connectivity side, the smartphone comes with 2.2 dual WiFi technology that allows better connectivity and wider connection options. For enhanced security, the smartphone sports fingerprint scanner under the home button. The home button is covered with glass for overall premium feel.
