Reliance's on-going refinery project at Jamnagar
The Mumbai engineering company Petron Engineering Construction Ltd has bagged Rs 100 crore order for Reliance Industries’ J-3 project in Jamnagar, Gujarat. “The company has received ‘Letter of Commitment’ from Fine Tech Corporation Private Limited, the agents of Reliance Industries Limited for mechanical works of LLDPE and other allied works in J-3 Project at Reliance Industries Limited, Jamnagar, Gujarat for a total value of Rs 100 crores,” said Petron Engineering Construction in a BSE filing on February 18, 2015.
RIL's J3complex comprises a petroleum refinery and other associated petrochemical plants, which produce plastic and fibre intermediates. Reliance Industries is planning to increase production capacities for high-density and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) as well as paraxylene.
Petron Engineering Construction Ltd is an EPC company catering diversified sectors such as refineries (reformers and crackers), oil & gas, power, cement, fertiliser & petrochemical, including specialised insulation & refractory work, fabrication work along with electrical & instrumentation work.
