Raaj Medisafe resumes production of hygiene products

Raaj Medisafe India Ltd has resumed manufacturing of products used in hospitals hygiene sector, especially disposable sheets that are very useful in containing hospital acquired infection (HAI). Raaj Medisafe India Ltd informed BSE on December 17, 2014, that the company is resuming its manufacturing and trading activities of the products specially used in hospitals hygiene sector and other sectors where hygiene is to be maintained.
 
HAI is an infection occurring in a patient in a hospital in whom the infection was not present at the time of admission. The main cause of infection is the reuse of different materials like bed sheet, pillow covers etc in the hospitals.
 
Raaj Medisafe’s disposable sheets will be targeted at nursing homes, clinics, Railways AC coaches, sleeper buses, and spas & beauty salons. In addition, the company will manufacture disposable masks, caps and shoe covers, which are are useful for hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, restaurants, hotels, etc.
