LyondellBasell completes sale of Petroken for $184 mn

The company has sold Petroken, a leading polypropylene producer in Argentina, to Grupo Inversor Petroquimica

LyondellBasell, one of the world's largest plastics, chemical and refining companies, on February 5, 2016 completed the sale of its wholly-owned subsidiary Petroken Petroquimica Ensenada SA (Petroken) to Grupo Inversor Petroquimica SL (GIP) for $ 184 million. Petroken, which operates a 180 kilo tonne plant in Ensenada, is a leading polypropylene producer in Argentina.
