Aggregate demand continues to grow, E-way bills hit record surge

RBI noted in a latest update that high-frequency indicators indicate that aggregate demand continued to grow, albeit with a slower momentum than in the preceding quarters. E-way bills continued to record double digit growth in September 2024. Toll collections grew by 6.5 per cent (y-o-y) in September as against 6.8 per cent (y-o-y) in the previous month.
