Telecom infrastructure company Indus Towers on Wednesday reported a net profit of Rs 1,779 crore for the March quarter, registering a decline of 4 per cent year-on-year.
It said the industry developments during the year have only strengthened the outlook for the company and the sector. The company exuded confidence about maintaining the "momentum" by capitalising on customers' network expansion and available strategic opportunities.
The revenue for the just-ended quarter came in at Rs 7,727 crore, up 7.4 per cent year-on-year.
The Q4 FY25 had a provision of Rs 226 crore for doubtful receivables, aided by collections against past overdue, the company said in a release.
"During the quarter, the company acquired passive infrastructure assets from Bharti Airtel and accounted for the same as a common control transaction in accordance with Ind AS 103 which requires restatement of financial results of Indus Towers from the date on which common control was established i.e. Nov 19, 2024. ..

Registration of properties in the Mumbai municipal region rose 12 per cent to 13,080 units in April on better housing demand, according to Knight Frank India.
There were 11,648 units registered during April 2024.
In a statement on Wednesday, real estate consultant Knight Frank India said Mumbai city, under the jurisdiction of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), recorded 13,080 property registrations during April.
The data, which relates to both primary and secondary market transactions, is as of 8.50 pm on Wednesday.
The number might increase slightly.
In March 2025, the total registration of properties stood at 15,501 units.
Knight Frank said this is the best April in the last 13 years in terms of property registrations.

A massive fire broke out at the Dilli Haat, a popular market, at INA in South Delhi on Wednesday night, an official of the Delhi Fire Service said.
Delhi Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra said that the fire has been brought under control and that there was no immediate report of any casualties in the incident.
An official in the Delhi Fire Services said, "We received a call regarding fire at Dilli Haat Market INA at 8.55 pm and have deployed 13 fire engines at the spot. Further operation is underway."
Several stalls were gutted in the fire. Smoke was seen bellowing from the stalls and flames leapt towards the sky as the blaze swept the popular art and craft mart.
A senior police officer said that a police team immediately rushed to the spot and started further investigation.
Meanwhile, Minister of Art, Culture and Language of Delhi Kapil Mishra in a post on X said, "The fire at Delhi Haat has been brought under control. There are no reports of any casualties in the fire.

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) on Friday presented a Rs 40,187 crore-budget for the megapolis.

The Rajya Sabha on Thursday returned the Finance Bill 2025 to the Lok Sabha, along with 35 government amendments, including one that abolishes a 6 per cent digital tax on online advertisements, thus completing the 2025-26 budgetary exercise that started on February 1.
The House also returned the Appropriation Bill (3) with a voice vote.
Earlier in the day, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had moved the two bills in the House.
The Lok Sabha had passed the Finance Bill on March 25 and passed the Appropriation Bill on March 21.
Replying to the debate later in the evening, she said the tendency of the finance ministry would be to exercise caution and not let go of revenues.
"But, here we wanted to use this opportunity to show our respect for Indian taxpayer. We have moved towards setting Rs 12 lakh as threshold up to which no one will have to pay any tax," Sitharaman said.
