COVID-19: Akal Takht instructed 'at home' celebration of Baisakhi, says Budgam gurudwara chief

Budgam (JandK), Apr 13 (ANI): The district gurudwara in Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam remained closed for the general public on the occasion of 'Baisakhi' in wake of the coronavirus lockdown, as advised by the government and Akal Takht, said Satpal Singh, President of Budgam Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee, Jammu and Kashmir. Even as a number of gurudwaras across the country allowed few devotees inside to offer prayers on the 'Baisakhi', the Budgam gurudwara didn't hold any programme inside their premises for the devotees on the the auspicious occasion.
