HP's Lahaul-Spiti hit by snow, several airlifted by special chopper

Lahaul-Spiti (Himachal Pradesh), Feb 02 (ANI): Lahaul-Spiti in Himachal Pradesh is covered in thick blanket of snow. Special choppers are airlifting people stuck in the district. High altitudes of hill state received heavy snowfall in last few days. Snow clearing operations are underway.
