Low intensity bomb found in Akal Takht Express

Amethi (Uttar Pradesh), Aug 10 (ANI): A suspicious object was found in Akal Takht Express in Amethi on Thursday. The train was then stopped and passengers were evacuated immediately. The object was later confirmed to be a low intensity bomb. The object was spotted in washroom by a passenger, Ravindra Singh, who was travelling in coach 3. The train was then halted at Akbarganj Railway Station and police from various stations reached the spot. A suspicious letter has also been found near the explosive. The Police and the Bomb Disposal Squad reached the spot and d.efused the explosive object.
