Prithviraj Chavan calls BJP manifesto election 'jumla'

Pune (Maharashtra), Apr 09 (ANI): While speaking exclusively to ANI, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan spoke about the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) manifesto. He said, "I have not seen BJP's manifesto yet.

I just heard some press conference by Mr Arun Jaitley. When I will go through it, I'll speak out.

But see, when BJP speaks bout Article 370 or 35A, my question is when you form the government, alliance government with PDP in Kashmir, why did not you raise this issue at that time? We never wanted anything about it. You just want to make it an election issue and you're welcome to make it an issue but there'll be a debate.

Let BJP answer the questions that the opposition parties have. This is nothing but an election 'jumla'.

BJP is running away from the issues of development. It is running away from the promises they made to people in 2014."
