PSLV-C45 mission is very special for ISRO: Chairman K Sivan

Sriharikota (Andhra Pradesh), Apr 01 (ANI): Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman K Sivan called the PSLV-C45 launch "very special" as he said that there were many firsts associated with the mission. Sivan pointed that it was the first time that the PSLV was carrying three orbital missions in a single flight and a new team was associated with the mission among many other firsts.

ISRO on Monday launched the PSLV-C45 from Sriharikota's Satish Dhawan Space Centre. The four-stage PSLV-C45 lifted off this morning carrying EMISAT and 28 customer satellites onboard.

The satellite was successfully injected into sun-synchronous polar orbit. The launch took place at 9:27 am.
