Radha Soami Satsang Beas Ashram provides shelter to thousands of stranded people

Saharnpur (UP), May 04 (ANI): The Radha Soami Satsang Beas Ashram facility in Saharnpur city of Uttar Pradesh has become a shelter house for hundreds of stranded migrant workers, who left for their homes during nationwide lockdown amid COVID-19 pandemic. These workers had left for their homes but got stranded in the city. Though the administration transported around 4000 to their destinations but still around 900 of them remained stuck in Saharanpur. Here, these workers are now looked after by the Radha Soami Satsang Beas, who along with local administration made proper bed arrangements for them under huge sheds, maintaining social distancing. Hygienic and healthy food, which is made in the ashram's modern and clean community kitchen, is also served to them three times a day. Along with this, giant projector screens have also been set up for the entertainment of the migrant workers.
