Surat textile industry bears the brunt of coronavirus lockdown

Surat (Gujarat), May 12 (ANI): India's lockdown has brought several businesses to standstill. In a recent example, textile industry in Surat has incurred huge losses due to the ongoing coronavirus lockdown. Jitubhai Vakharia, President, South Gujarat Textile Processors' Association said, "An estimated loss of Rs 1000 crores may be incurred as the lockdown is expected to extend".
