Watch: Assam Regiment celebrates platinum jubilee

Shimla, June 16 (ANI): The Assam Regiment celebrated its platinum jubilee in Himachal Pradesh's Jutogh area. Deputy Chief of Indian Army Staff (Personal and Systems) Lt. General Subrata Saha said this is an important occasion for the regiment of warriors. This regiment represents the warrior's province of North East. Several generations have gathered to celebrate the jubilee. The artistic and warriors performance by the troops drew attention of the gathering here. The battalion is also the proud recipient of Chief of the Army Staff Unit Citation for its role in combating terrorism on Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.
