Awami League goes ahead with polls nomination forms

The ruling Awami League (AL) party in Bangladesh has started selling nomination forms to its candidates for contesting the upcoming national polls, even as the main opposition BNP had called for 84-hour strike to press their demand of holding the elections under a non-partisan caretaker government.
