PoK, Apr 05: The people in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) are leading a life of turmoil and hardships. Worsening health services in the region are adding to their woes. In a recently held meeting at Abaseen Institute of Medical and Modern Science in Islamabad, the issues of doctors and health staff from Muzaffarabad in PoK were not addressed. The representatives of the medical association, in an interview, dismissed the manner in which doctors were ill-famed and unlawfully subjected to public trials. The doctors presented a hopeless picture of the deteriorating condition of the health workers in PoK. They narrated several instances where doctors were threatened with knives and prevented from leaving the premises.
