Indiscriminate Cutting Of Trees in Gilgit-Baltistan

Gilgit-Baltistan, Jan 27: People living in Gilgit-Baltistan face double whammy mainly due to laxity of the corrupt administration. On one hand the people are experiencing biting cold and on the other hand there is no electricity or gas to cook food. As a result, forests are being cut indiscriminately thus leaving the already fragile ecology on a brink.
