International entry-exit checkpoints on India Myanmar border opened

Naypyidaw (Myanmar), Aug 08 (ANI): The international entry-exit checkpoints between India and Myanmar border were formally opened, said Vikram Misri, Ambassador of India to Myanmar on Wednesday. The checkpoints were opened simultaneously on Tamu-Moreh border between Manipur and Sagaing division and on the Zokhawthar-Rikhawdar border between Mizoram and Chin state. People will now be able to cross the land border between India and Myanmar holding visas and passports. It will open doors for new avenues in tourism, business and education sector between the two countries.
