CleanMax, Toyota Tsusho India join hands to develop 300 MW green capacity

Renewable energy solutions provider CleanMax and Toyota Tsusho India have joined hands to develop 300 megawatt capacity of renewable energy projects in India. The new partnership aims to leverage synergies between both companies to develop and operate renewable energy projects for Japanese corporates in India, CleanMax said in a statement. The companies aim to set up the capacity by 2028. The partnership will provide comprehensive green energy solutions tailored to each company's needs, including rooftop solar projects, stand-alone ground-mount solar or wind projects, wind-solar hybrid projects and carbon credits. CleanMax, Osaka Gas partner in JV to develop 300MW renewable portfolio

Brookfield-backed firm CleanMax on Monday announced a joint venture partnership with Osaka Gas Group to develop a 300MW renewable energy portfolio entailing an investment of Rs 1,500 crore. The joint venture entity will be called 'Clean Max Osaka Gas Renewable Energy Private Limited' (CORE), according to a statement. Under the joint venture, a total investment value of Rs 1,500 crore for the 300 MW renewable energy portfolio, which will be developed in due course of time, a revised statement said. The remaining 100 MW will be developed in about next two years, it added. Cleanmax Solar to invest Rs 500 cr in roof top solar projects this year

Bengaluru-based solar energy firm Cleanmax Solar, which reported to have a 23 per cent market share in roof top solar space, is planning to double its roof top installation to 100 MW with an investment of around Rs 500 crore. The company is in talks with various investors including private equity firms to raise funds."Last year in roof top solar, we did around 45 MW projects. In the current fiscal year we are looking at something upwards of 100 MW in rooftop. The utility projects to corporate customers saw an installation of around 65 MW last year and we are planning to have 150 MW during this year," said Andrew Hines, co-founder, CleanMax Solar.The investment would be approximately Rs 5 crore per megawatt as project cost and it would require roughly Rs 500 crore for the roof top projects this year.
