Tata Technologies inks agreement with Telangana for skill centres

Tata Technologies Limited signed a MoU with the Telangana government to establish "Advanced Technical Skill Training Centres (skilling centres)" in 65 Industrial Training Institutes in the state. An official release said the Tata Group company and the state government signed an agreement under which TTL will upgrade government ITIs as advanced technology centres. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy held a meeting with the representatives of Tata Technologies at the Secretariat here. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, IT Minister D Sridhar Babu, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari and other officials also participated. The Tata Group company will conduct 9 long-term and 23 short-term courses as well as bridge courses to improve the skills. The State government is making arrangements for the implementation of the project from 2024-2025 academic year, it added.

PM unveils projects worth Rs 7,200 cr in T'gana; highlights infra push

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation for development projects worth more than Rs 6,800 crore and also address a rally on Tuesday at Sangareddy, about 60 km from here. The projects are related to multiple key sectors such as road, rail, petroleum and natural gas, an official release had earlier said. PM Modi with CM Reddy unveils projects worth Rs 56,000 cr in Telangana

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated multiple power, rail and road projects and laid the foundation stone for others, totalling more than Rs 56,000 crore, in Telangana, where Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of Congress received him and shared the dais with him. In his brief address, the prime minister highlighted India's economic growth. He said that more than 25 crore people have risen out of poverty, and attributed it to his government's welfare schemes. Telangana to develop next phase of 'Genome Valley', says CM Revanth Reddy

The Telangana government will be taking up the next phase of 'Genome Valley', the country's first organised cluster for Life Sciences R&D and clean manufacturing activities here involving an investment of Rs 2,000 crore in 300 acres of land, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said on Tuesday. Speaking at BioAsia 2024, a healthcare and life sciences annual event, Reddy said the government is also planning to develop ten "Pharma Villages" (clusters) in the state which will have investment potential of Rs one lakh crore. "I am announcing here to establish the next phase of Genome Valley in 300 acres of land with Rs 2,000 crore of investment," he added. He further said the Pharma Villages will have the potential to generate five lakh jobs after they are established. Reddy said the government has also identified clusters for Greenfield Integrated Pharma Villages in Vikarabad, Medak and Nalgonda, all three different areas of Telangana for infrastructure and investment. RenewSys to set up PV modules, cell manufacturing units in Telangana

RenewSys India Pvt Ltd on Monday signed an MoU with the Telangana government for setting up multiple PV modules and PV Cell manufacturing units in the state with a phased investment of around Rs 6,000 crores. RenewSys is a company headquartered in Singapore and it has set up integrated manufacturing facility of solar PV modules and its key components Encapsulants, Backsheets, and PV cells, an official release said. With the signing of the MoU, the company has committed to make a phased investment of around Rs 6,000 crores generating direct employment for over 11,000 people over the next five years and to further expand its operations in Telangana, it said. The MoU was signed in the presence of state IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu in the factory premises at Fab City in Maheshwaram on city outskirts. As per the MoU, RenewSys will be setting up solar PV modules, solar PV cells manufacturing units and Aluminum plant between FY 24 and FY 28, the release said. RenewSys India
