New Delhi, Sep 24 (ANI): Former Chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) Barkha Shukla on Thursday criticised Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over his tweets on Aam Aadmi Party MLA Somnath Bharti, saying he is now trying to control the damage. Shukla also said that if Kejriwal would have acted tough on Bharti when the Khirki Extension case took place the situation today would have been different. Asked on her expectations from the Supreme Court where Bharti's bail plea is to be heard today, Shukla mentioned that she firmly believes in judicial process adding that Bharti won't get any respite from the apex court as well. Bharti has moved Supreme Court seeking protection from arrest in a domestic violence case after the Delhi high court rejected his anticipatory bail plea. The Delhi Police had registered a case against Bharti after he was accused of domestic violence and mental torture by his wife Lipika Mitra.
