NSE's launch of SME platform in New Delhi's Le Meridien hotel had Ashish Kumar Chauhan as a surprise guest

The National Stock Exchange’s big bang launch of its small and medium enterprises (SME) platform in the capital’s Le Meridien hotel had a surprise guest. Ashish Kumar Chauhan, interim chief of archrival Bombay Stock Exchange was seen leaving the event soon after the ceremonial bell was rung to mark the listing of the first SME. Asked about his presence, Chauhan said he was in Delhi for the launch for some “spot chilly” contract, which was being held across the road at the Shangri La hotel.
