Infant found abandoned in bushes near Hingoli

The baby, found in the bushes along the roadside between Kalamnuri and Hingoli, has been admitted to the government hospital and is recuperating, said sources.

The police are further investigating the case.

There were several cases of forced abortion and female foeticides reported from the neighbouring Beed district over the last few months and many sonography centres were sealed in the Marathwada region.
