Special postal cover on Mahatma Gandhi released in Jammu

Lawmaker Madan Lal Sharma in presence of J&K's Chief Postmaster General John Samuel released the special cover at a function held here at Kala Kendra in the presence of school children and dignitaries.

Addressing the audience, Sharma said Gandhi had showcased the power of truth and non-violence to the world and the exhibition was a step to promote his values among the masses even further.

A four-day mega philately exhibition 'My Life is My Message' on Mahatma Gandhi began on October 1 and is open for school children, college students and the general public.
