The committee, armed with the order from Registrar of Cooperative Society, visited the GCA office at Porvorim, near here, and began their work.
GCA secretary Vilas Desai said that the cricketing body will provide all the facilities required for the members to conduct their duty.
"They will be investigating the financial and administrative irregularities as alleged by some complainant," he said.
District Registrar (North) V T Hadkonkar issued the order on Tuesday asking two experts -- K M Raghvendra and Pradeep Lad -- to investigate after a complaint was filed against GCA.
"We will submit the report and it would be for the state government to take further action," he added.
