Centricity, a technology-first wealth management company, on Thursday announced that it has raised Rs 280 crore in its Series A funding round, led by SMBC Asia Rising. In addition, existing investors, including Lightspeed India Partners, Burman Family Office, RAAY Investments, Stride Venture, and Innoven Capital, also participated in the funding round, Centricity said in a statement. The funds will be used to strengthen the company's proprietary technology stack, expand its B2B2C wealth distribution platform, accelerate the growth of its private wealth and NRI global private client businesses, and deepen its presence across domestic and international markets. Founded in 2022, Centricity is a wealth management company that manages more than Rs 15,000 crore in Assets Under Management (AUM).Earlier, it raised USD 4 million in pre-seed funding in 2022, followed by a USD 18 million seed round in 2024.
Health and wellness e-commerce platform HyugaLife has raised Rs 100 crore in a Series A funding round led by venture capital firm IvyCap Ventures. The funding round also saw participation from First Bridge Fund. The fresh capital will be utilised to strengthen the platform's AI-powered personalisation capabilities, expand its dark store network for faster deliveries, and establish an offline retail presence, the company said in a statement. HyugaLife operates as a marketplace for proteins, supplements, and health foods. The platform sources directly from brands-eliminating third-party sellers-and conducts independent lab tests for nutrition and heavy metals. The startup, which counts Indian cricketer KL Rahul among its key investors, currently lists over 10,000 products from more than 450 brands. PowerUp Money, a mutual fund advisory wealthtech platform, on Monday said it has raised USD 12 million (about Rs 107.4 crore) in a Series A funding round led by Peak XV, with participation from existing investors Accel, Blume Ventures, and Kae Capital. The funding comes just six months after the company raised USD 7.2 million in seed funding. With the latest funding, PowerUp Money intends to enhance its research and advisory offerings, expand its flagship offering PowerUp Elite, introduce PowerUp Infinite (a fully managed investment advisory product offering), and allocate resources toward financial literacy and investor education, according to a company statement.
