Clean energy firm Gentari and Shell India have formed a strategic partnership to improve electric vehicle (EV) charging accessibility nationwide, according to a company announcement on Thursday. The partnership aims to provide access to a collective network of over 450 EV charging points across India. "Effective July 10, Shell Recharge charging points will be accessible through the Gentari Go app, and Gentari chargers will be available to Shell Recharge users, giving them access to a network of more than 450 chargers," Gentari said in a statement. The partnership aims to significantly enhance EV charging accessibility and service quality in India by enabling roaming between Gentari Go and Shell Recharge. Security and business support services provider SIS Group Enterprises on Wednesday said it has signed an MoU with the government to upskill its personnel and include Civil Defence and Disaster Relief in the training curriculum. The strategic partnership with the civil defence wing of the Home Affairs Ministry intends to improve internal security preparedness by supporting the upskilling of SIS frontline security officers deployed in 244 districts across India, the group said in a statement. This collaboration will involve the active participation of SIS teams in Civil Defence drills and the inclusion of Civil Defence and Disaster Relief modules in SIS's training curriculum. Indian IT major Infosys on Wednesday announced the expansion of its partnership with AIB, a financial services group in Ireland and the United Kingdom, to deliver application development, testing, and support services. Infosys will assist AIB in improving its software systems and managing application development and maintenance, according to a company statement. India and the US held a key two-day military cooperation group meeting ending on Wednesday during which both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding the scope of the bilateral military cooperation with a shared understanding of the dynamic challenges facing the Indo-Pacific region.
