Consumer durables maker Whirlpool of India on Tuesday reported a decline of 21.9 per cent in consolidated net profit at Rs 41.80 crore for the September quarter of FY'26. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 53.53 crore during the July-September quarter of the previous fiscal, according to a regulatory filing by Whirlpool of India, a subsidiary of US-based Whirlpool Corporation. Its revenue from operations was down 3.83 per cent to Rs 1,647.27 crore in the September quarter of FY'26. It was at Rs 1,712.99 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. Whirlpool of India's total expenses were at Rs 1,649.51 crore in the September quarter, down 2.33 per cent. Its total income, including other income, stood at Rs 1,697.10 crore, down 3.7 per cent in the September quarter. Shares of Whirlpool of India Ltd on Tuesday settled at Rs 1,374.20 a piece on BSE, down 0.16 per cent from the previous close.
Consumer durables maker Whirlpool of India Ltd on Saturday reported a marginal increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 146.08 crore for the June 2025 quarter. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 145.25 crore during the April-June quarter of the previous fiscal, according to a regulatory filing by Whirlpool of India, a subsidiary of US-based Whirlpool Corporation. Its revenue from operations slipped 2.58 per cent to Rs 2,432.32 crore during the quarter under review. It was Rs 2,496.86 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. "Despite a very significant decline in industry of air conditioners and refrigerators in Q1 2025-26 versus a year ago due to a poor summer and onset of early monsoon that affected all players, Whirlpool was able to actually grow profits by keeping its volume decline minimal via continuing to gain market shares in the refrigerator and washer category in April-May," the company said in its earning statement. The company posted a net profit of Rs 38.20 crore during the July-September quarter of the previous fiscal, Whirlpool of India, a subsidiary of Whirlpool Corporation, said in a regulatory filing. Its revenue from operations was 12.58 per cent higher at Rs 1,713 crore during the quarter under review. The same stood at Rs 1,521.56 crore a year ago. Whirlpool of India's total expenses were Rs 1,688.95 crore in the July-September period, up 12.35 per cent. Total income of Whirlpool of India, which includes other income, grew 13.3 per cent to Rs 1,762.32 crore during the reported quarter. Shares of Whirlpool of India Ltd settled 1.65 per cent lower at Rs 2,041.65 apiece on the BSE.
