200-strong CISF squad to man RIL's Jamnagar refinery

The Reliance Industries’ (RIL’s) oil refinery in Jamnagar has been finally provided with a 200-strong squad of CISF which will cover the sprawling campus from sea and city side to thwart any attempt from terrorists.

A simple ceremony was held at the campus in which CISF took control of the strategic locations at the Jamnagar refinery, a home ministry official said today. The ministry had given in-principle approval for providing CISF cover to the refinery owned by RIL nearly a year ago.
