Ambanis' hearing adjourned till July 7
The dispute is staking claim over a lease of land for hangar

Justice A P Deshpande, who is hearing the petition filed by Anil Ambani-owned Reliance Transport and Travels Ltd (RTTL) staking claim over a lease of land for hangar, adjourned the hearing after the latter's counsel sought time to inspect the documents regarding the lease between RIL and Airport Authority of India (AAI) and file an affidavit.
"We want to inspect the correspondence by RIL and file a rejoinder," advocate for RTTL, Cyrus Bharucha told court.
A month ago, division bench of this court had permitted AAI to lease the hangar to RIL, subjected to final outcome of the suit before Justice Deshpande, it had held.

The bench said that RIL neither can create any third party rights in the hangar, nor can it hand it over to a third party.
Currently the hangar is in RIL's possession.
But RTTL wanted a stay to execution of the lease agreement between AAI and RIL till the suit was decided, which was rejected by the Apex court on May 9.
AAI allotted the plot to RTTL in 2000, when it was a subsidiary of RIL, and the demerger of Reliance was yet to happen. Following the demerger of Reliance, while the flagship RIL went to Mukesh Ambani, RTTL went to Anil Ambani.
Therfore, now the issue before the court is as to who is entitled to get lease of the allotted land.
