Leading global search firm, BTI Consultants in partnership with New York-based The Ayers Group have launched outplacement to the business community through inaugural seminars held in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
Amid recession and major lay-offs, the collaboration has been designed to help companies adapt to change through guidance on serious issues pertaining to human resources and organisation development. Through its respective offices in Asia, the partnership aims to provide services that include individual career transitioning services, senior executive programs, group career transitioning services and retirement planning program.
"For every worker affected, there is a family affected. For every worker, there are five or six other people whose income is stopped, whose future is threatened," said Terry Ebert, managing director of Ayers.
