Crestcom International, a US-based provider of training solutions for middle-level managers, is planning to set up its training centres in major cities across India.
Crestcom, which started India operation in 1995, has a presence in Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi.
Charles Parsons, director (International Franchisee Development), Crestcom International, said, “We are planning to take the bullet proof manager programme to Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, in addition to adding franchisees in Mumbai and New Delhi, over the next three months.”
The bullet proof manager programme is designed to address key leadership challenges among the mid-senior level managers on customer service, performance management, planning, goal setting, coaching, hiring, retention, stress management, negotiation and change management.
The programme, spread across 12 sessions in a year, trains managers through video-based live seminars. So far, it has trained over 10,000 managers and runs through six franchises, catering to 300 companies. The fee ranges between Rs 1.20 lakh and Rs 1.40 lakh.

Crestcom estimates that there are 50,000-75,000 managers in India across verticals including IT, ITeS, manufacturing and services sector, said Lakshmi Kruti Vasan, founder of Crestpoint Consultants Private Limited and a franchisee of Crestcom.
According to the industry estimate, the total training spend of Indian companies ranges from Rs 5,000-10,000 crore. Around Rs 1,000 crore is dedicated to ramp up the middle and senior management skills, she added.
“Of this, 50 per cent is being outsourced to expert facilitators. With the current growth of corporate managers across India, the market is expected to grow at 15-20 per cent per annum,” she added.
