GCPL Q4 net profit up 36%

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) on Monday posted a 36 per cent increase in fourth-quarter consolidated net profit at Rs 192.7 crore. During the three months to March 2011, the company’s consolidated net profit was at Rs 141.7 crore. Net sales in the fourth quarter increased by 30.9 per cent to Rs 1,323 crore, compared to Rs 1,011 crore in the same period of the previous financial year, it said.
