Godawari Power gets govt nod for mining in Chhattisgarh

Godawari Power & Ispat has informed Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) that the company has received an in-principle approval from the Ministry of Environment and Forest, for diversion of 110 hectares of forest land for iron ore mining at Rajnandgaon District of Chhattisgarh.

Mining activity in the mine is expected to commence by June, 2009, the company informed the BSE.
