HMD Global unveils Nokia 2 in a global event from India

Priced at euro 99, the Nokia 2 smartphone will go on sale starting mid-November

Finnish electronics company HMD Global, which develops and markets smartphones under the Nokia brand name has unveiled the Nokia 2 smartphones at a launch event in India.

The smartphone is priced at euro 99 and will go on sale starting mid-November. The Nokia 2 is the company’s first international announcement staged from India.

With the announcement of Nokia 2, HMD Global has marked the beginning of India-first devices.

The smartphone sports 5-inch LTPS HD screen protected with Gorilla Glass. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor coupled with 1 GB RAM and () internal storage, expandable via microSD
