Tiles maker Kajaria Ceramics today reported an over two-fold jump in net profit for the December quarter at Rs 17.59 crore.
The company had a net profit of Rs 8.27 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, Kajaria Ceramics said in a statement.
Net sales of the company also increased to Rs 253.66 crore in the October-December quarter from Rs 179.70 crore in the corresponding period last year, it added.
Meanwhile, shares of the company were trading at Rs 73.55, down 1.54 per cent from the previous close on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
