Linen to drive 10-15% of Raymond's fabric business

Bajaj said there were few players offering linen collection in the country presently, and the existing market for it is Rs 1,000 crore

Apparel major Raymond Limited, which has today launched its linen fabric collection, said that in the next two years, it was expecting the segment would contribute around 15 per cent of its over Rs 3,500 crore fabric business.

"We are expecting 10-15 per cent of our fabric segment revenues to be coming from the linen collection in the next two years," said Rajiv Bajaj, head for branded shirting business, Raymond Ltd.

Speaking to mediapersons, he said that linen would be its "big growth drivers forward" as the collection is becoming a preferred fashion in the country.
