P R Venketrama Raja takes over as chairman of Ramco Systems

His son, P V Abinav Ramasubramaniam Raja, joins as additional director in the company

Ramco Systems appointed P R Venketrama Raja as its new chairman. He would be heading the company's board of directors, said Ramco Systems.

Venketrama Raja relinquished from the post of the company's managing director on June 3.

He was also appointed as the new chairman and managing director of Ramco Cements last week.

His son, P V Abinav Ramasubramaniam Raja, has been appointed as an additional director of the board in Ramco Systems Ltd. The 23-year-old engeneering graduate from the Northwestern University in the United States of America (US), had earlier interned as an equity research analyst at the Enam Holdings Pvt Ltd in Mumbai, before undertaking a second internship at Ramco Cements as a summer analyst.

Ramasubramaniam Raja is currently acting as the director of Ramco Systems, Ramco Industries, Rajapalayam Mills and Lynks Logistics Ltd.

Changes in the company's management posts follows the demise of Ramco Group's erstwhile chairman P R Ramasubrahmaneya Rajha, who is the father of the newly appointed board chairman Venketrama Raja.
