SpiceJet has started giving limited-period discounted tickets to flyers from Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat. The low-cost airline on Wednesday came up with a three-day, region-wise discount offer for travel originating from among other places Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Goa, Surat, Ahmedabad, Indore.
An airline spokesperson said these low fares were being offered on one-waytravel. The tickets can be booked till April 18 for travel between June 10 and August 10. Sharat Dhall , president , yatra.com,said, "SpiceJet has announced another airfare saletargeting the western markets this time with fares starting from Rs 1849. Thesefares provide very good value for money for travellers and will reduce their travelcost by approximately 12% .
With the promotion applicable for travel in June to August, post the peak summer holiday season, it isanother attempt by SpiceJet to incentivize advance bookings for the off peakperiod."
