Tata Industries Net Profit At Rs 6.35 Crore During 2000-01

Tata Industries, an unlisted company engaged in the business of promoting new companies in the Tata bailiwick, recorded a net profit of Rs 6.35 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2001, up from Rs 4.26 crore for the fiscal 1999-2000. This was despite its total income having dropped to Rs 110.9 crore from Rs 140.5 crore in the previous fiscal year.
