Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today said it sold 13,601 units in October 2015 against 12,556 units in the same month last year.

"With the festive season on, we have seen a growth of 9% in our sales from January to October 2015 when compared to the same period last year," TKM Director and Senior Vice President (Sales and Marketing) N Raja said in a statement here.

The company sold 12,403 units in the domestic market and exported 1,198 units in October 2015, he said.

The Etios series registered a cumulative growth of 12% from January to October 2015 when compared to the same period last year, he said.

"This growth can be attributed to the overwhelming response received to the recently launched New Liva," Raja said.

TKM also registered a cumulative growth of nine% by selling 1,19,095 units in the domestic market from January to October 2015 as compared to 1,08,863 units sold from January to October 2014, Raja said.

Sales of the new Camry from April to October 2015 has already exceeded the total in 2014, he said.

Furthermore, the latest Fortuner TRD has received a very good response from buyers, attributing to the overall growth in sales, Raja added.
