Unichem Labs Q2 net profit at Rs 46 cr

Drug firm Unichem Laboratories on Friday reported a standalone net profit of Rs 45.82 crore for the second quarter ended on September 30, 2017.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 20.52 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Unichem Laboratories said in a filing to BSE.

Standalone revenue from operations of the company stood at Rs 428.11 crore for the quarter under consideration. It was Rs 368.03 crore for the same period year ago.

The results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2017 are not comparable with previous periods presented in the results, Unichem Laboratories said.
 

Shares of Unichem Laboratories today closed at Rs 313.30 per scrip on BSE, up 0.59 per cent from the previous close.
