While the country waits for the first rainfall forecast for this year's monsoon, many parts of North, Northwest and central India will face extreme heatwave conditions for the next few days, IMD's heat wave forecast said recently.
On Monday, Adilabad district of Telangana recorded the highest temperature of 44.4 degrees Celsius in the state.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a warning that heatwave conditions were likely to prevail at some places in north Telangana on Tuesday as well.
Mercury has been rising in Nizamabad and Mahabubnagar as both recorded maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius, followed by Ramagundam (43.4)
