Air India said the mishap took place when the aircraft was being pushed back from the parking bay. The co-pilot of the Mumbai-Hyderabad flight mistook a signal and started the engine. The victim, Ravi Subramanian, got sucked into it at the Chhatrapati Shivaji domestic airport around 8:40 pm.
