India on September 19 reported an increase of 105 in active coronavirus cases to take its count to 48,027. The country is thirty-fourth among the most affected countries globally by active cases. On September 19, it added 4,858 cases to take its total caseload to 44,539,046. And, with 18 new fatalities, including eight more reconciled by Kerala, its Covid-19 death toll reached 528,355, or 1.19 per cent of total confirmed infections.
