PwC extends footprint to Bangladesh

To strengthen its footprint in South Asia, global audit-cum-consultancy major PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has set up a subsidiary office in Bangladesh. Mamun Rashid will be the partner in-charge in that country.
This initiative would give PwC an opportunity to partner Bangladesh in its growth journey by offering services in areas of advisory and taxation, said a statement from PwC India.
"We look forward to be a part of this momentum by increasing our ground presence to offer our global expertise and deliver quality services suited to meet local requirements," said Deepak Kapoor, chairman PwC India and PwC Bangladesh.
PwC Bangladesh would recruit from local educational institutions, and work with professional organisations to develop talent in that country, the statement added.
