Tremors felt in Delhi, North India on Friday, fifth time in two months

A low-intensity earthquake of magnitude 2.2 hit the national capital on May 15, the fourth since April 12, the National Centre for Seismology said. The epicentre was Pitampura in north Delhi.

An earthquake hit Delhi and places in north India on Friday evening, the fifth time since April 12 when the region recorded mild tremors. According to the NCS, the quake occurred at a depth of 5 km at 9.08 pm.
 
“Did you feel it!” was the buzz among people messaging each other in Delhi and cities near it.

There were no immediate reports of any loss of life or property.
