		</script> </DIV><p class='TableClas'>Two years ago, a premier school and an NGO in Dehra Dun got together to adopt Fatehgram, a sleepy, non-descript village on the outskirts of Doon valley. Their efforts are paying off. Literally.
</p><p class='TableClas'>Situated amidst sylvan surroundings, Fatehgram is all set to attain economic independence thanks to an innovative initiative by The Doon School and Himalayan Environmental Studies and Conservation Organisation (HESCO). The project, inaugurated by eminent scientist M S Swaminathan, created new avenues for villagers. 
</p><p class='TableClas'>They are being trained for fishery, bakery, masonry, and beekeeping.
