H S Brahma takes charge as power secretary

H S Brahma today assumed charge as secretary in the Ministry of Power.

He was earlier special secretary, National Disaster Management Authority in the Ministry of Home Affairs, an official statement said today.

Brahma is Andhra Pradesh cadre officer of the 1975 batch of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).

He has held various significant assignments in different sectors in the Central government as well as state government of Andhra Pradesh.
