By any reckoning, the battle between Reliance Industries (RIL) and Amazon is being waged as the corporate equivalent of on land, on sea and in air. It is being waged grimly like that of massed infantry positions, yielding and  gaining territory in the Delhi High Court, it is being fought in the “air” beyond the country’s border in the Singapore arbitration courts and could envelop other regulators and it is being fought in the seas of stock market at the Bombay Stock Exchange and at the regulator, the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
